With Valentine’s Day being this weekend, you might still be looking for ways to celebrate! Whether you are celebrating with your valentine or your galentine(s), Vancouver has some great places to go on a brunch date, a dinner date, or to just grab a cocktail!    Brunch Spots   Whether you decide to get take out and brunch in bed, dine indoors or dine outside, you can’t go wrong with these brunch spots. If you choose to pay a visit to Carol’s Corner , you can count on huge, heaping plates of deliciousness. At the Syrup Trap , you will find some of the best waffles and waffles with toppings that you never would have thought existed. If you can’t decide on what you want and need a place with a little bit of everything, head to La Provence . For delicious donuts, head to Mr. Maple , Donut Nook , Angel’s Donuts & Ice Cream, or Krispy Kreme .   Dinner Date Spots   If you are looking to go on a dinner date, or grab some take-out and indulge in your Valentine’s Day dinner from the comfort of your own home, you are in luck! Vancouver has plenty of delicious restaurants for you to choose from. Depending on what you are in the mood for, Amaro’s Table , Twigs , WildFin , Thai Orchid , Sushi Mo , and Elements Restaurant are all really tasty options! We would highly recommend calling ahead to check on wait times or making a reservation if possible because these are all popular spots.    Cocktails   After your dinner date, you might want to stop and get a cocktail before calling it a night. If that’s the case stop by Brickhouse , Shanahan’s , Tap Union House , Top Shelf , or The Infirmary for a nightcap! All of which are great options.   If you are still needing some mid-day Valentine’s Day plans, we highly recommend a movie marathon in the comfort of your very own home. No matter what way you are spending Valentine’s Day, make sure to show the ones that you love just how much you appreciate them. Here in Vancouver, we have some great sushi spots, whether you prefer sit down or conveyor belt options, there is a spot for you. Keep in mind that these sushi restaurants are currently being affected by COVID-19, so check their Yelp page before visiting to see if they are open for dine-in, take-out, outdoor seating, and/or delivery.    Best Conveyor Belt Sushi    Conveyor belt sushi bars are great, especially if you are wanting to have a little bit of everything. Being able to try and visually see various kinds of sushi is especially great if you are a first-time sushi goer! It allows you to get a feel for what you like and don’t like. Some great conveyor belt sushi spots in Vancouver are Sushi Mioga , GoGo Sushi , Sushi Chiyo (currently under construction and closed), and Sushi Hana . Many of these sushi restaurants do amazing happy hours as well, so make sure to check their Yelp page for that before fulfilling those sushi cravings.    Best Sit-Down Sushi   Vancouver is also home to some delicious sit-down sushi restaurants. Pet Friendly Living: Nearby Parks and Walking Trails in Vancouver WA-image

As a pet owner, it’s important that you give your furry friend the life they deserve, and luckily you can do that when you live at Acero Jensen Park . Our community is surrounded by parks, dog parks, walking and running trails, and a beautiful waterfront.    Parks in Vancouver   While there are many parks in Vancouver and the surrounding area, we want to tell you about the ones closest to our community. Hazel Dell Community Park is a 20-acre community park with picnic areas, play equipment, restrooms, and of course tons of greenery and space for you and your pup to wander. There is also Walnut Grove Neighborhood Park which is only a 3.7-acre park but there is still plenty of room to get out and get some fresh air. All of the parks in our surrounding Vancouver area are a great place to visit.   Off-Leash Dog Parks   When your dog needs to get out of the apartment you can take them to one of the great off-leash dog parks in Vancouver and let them get those zoomies out and get that exercise in. Our nearest dog park is Ike Memorial Park which is the largest off-leash dog park in Vancouver with 10 acres. This is a fenced area with double-gated entries, gravel and dirt trail, a small dog area with a separate entrance, benches, and dog drinking fountains. The Dakota Memorial Dog Park is an 8-acre off-leash area within Pacific Community Park and it is fully fenced with two double-gated entrances. This dog park has a gravel perimeter trail through the open lawn and forested areas, a rustic log agility course, benches, and drinking fountains, plus a dog rinse-off area. With such great off-leash dog park options nearby, you will always have somewhere to go to socialize your dog and get them the exercise they need.   Walking Trails    Sometimes dog owners want to get their daily movement in as well and thankfully we have a ton of great walking trails surrounding our Acero Jensen Park community. If you are looking to take a nice long walk, jog or run with your four-legged friends visit Salmon Creek Greenway Trails , Leverich Park , Whipple Creek Regional Park , Burnt Bridge Creek Trail , or the Vancouver Waterfront . No matter which trail you choose, you will get the most beautiful scenery!    When you live at Acero Jensen Park , your four-legged friends will be in heaven with our pet-friendly living and surrounding community. From parks to off-leash dog parks, to walking trails, you have a ton of options for getting out and enjoying the fresh air while getting some exercise with your pet!
