Valentine’s Day is a day to celebrate those we love most and show them just how much we appreciate them. With Valentine’s Day being this weekend, you might still be looking for ways to celebrate! Whether you are celebrating with your valentine or your galentine(s), Vancouver has some great places to go on a brunch date, a dinner date, or to just grab a cocktail!
Brunch Spots
Whether you decide to get take out and brunch in bed, dine indoors or dine outside, you can’t go wrong with these brunch spots. If you choose to pay a visit to Carol’s Corner, you can count on huge, heaping plates of deliciousness. At the Syrup Trap, you will find some of the best waffles and waffles with toppings that you never would have thought existed. If you can’t decide on what you want and need a place with a little bit of everything, head to La Provence. For delicious donuts, head to Mr. Maple, Donut Nook, Angel’s Donuts & Ice Cream, or Krispy Kreme.
Dinner Date Spots
If you are looking to go on a dinner date, or grab some take-out and indulge in your Valentine’s Day dinner from the comfort of your own home, you are in luck! Vancouver has plenty of delicious restaurants for you to choose from. Depending on what you are in the mood for, Amaro’s Table, Twigs, WildFin, Thai Orchid, Sushi Mo, and Elements Restaurant are all really tasty options! We would highly recommend calling ahead to check on wait times or making a reservation if possible because these are all popular spots.
Cocktails
After your dinner date, you might want to stop and get a cocktail before calling it a night. If that’s the case stop by Brickhouse, Shanahan’s, Tap Union House, Top Shelf, or The Infirmary for a nightcap! All of which are great options.
If you are still needing some mid-day Valentine’s Day plans, we highly recommend a movie marathon in the comfort of your very own home. No matter what way you are spending Valentine’s Day, make sure to show the ones that you love just how much you appreciate them. Happy Valentine’s Day weekend everyone, we hope it is filled with love and joy.
