Fall Cleaning & Organizational Refresh Checklist


Spring cleaning isn’t just for spring! As another season comes to an end and another one begins, it’s always a great idea to deep clean and reorganize. Fall cleaning is here and we highly recommend doing a deep clean of your Acero Jensen Park apartment home before life gets busy during the holiday season. We’ve compiled a cleaning and organizational checklist for you to use as a guide!

 

Entryway 

  • Sweep floors

  • Mop floors

  • Wipe walls 

  • Wipe baseboards

  • Clean door

  • Clean doormat

 

Kitchen/Dining Room

  • Clean stovetop

  • Clean oven 

  • Clean microwave 

  • Clean dishwasher 

  • Clean refrigerator 

  • Wipe drawers and shelves in refrigerator and freezer

  • Discard old or expired food in cabinets, fridge and freezer 

  • Clear countertops and wipe down

  • Remove items from cabinets and thoroughly clean inside

  • Clean fridge/freezer seal

  • Dust top of high surfaces 

  • Deodorizer and degrease the kitchen drain

  • Wash dish rags and clean sponges 

  • Wipe walls 

  • Wipe baseboards 

  • Mop and/or floors

  • Shake out dust or dirt from floor mats

  • Clean light fixtures 

  • Dust blinds 

  • Dust curtain rods

  • Clean windows and window sills

 

Laundry Room

  • Clean washing machine 

  • Clean dryer vent 

  • Clean lint trap 

  • Organize laundry supplies 

 

Bedrooms 

  • Wipe baseboards

  • Donate unused clothing

  • Wash bedding including sheets, pillows, duvets and bed skirts

Living Room 

  • Wash slipcovers

  • Wash blankets and pillows

  • Dust and clean lamp shades

Office Area

  • Recycle unneeded paperwork 

  • Dust bookshelf
